MUDr. Radovan Pock

He studied at the 3. Medical Faculty, Charles University, Prague and Medical Faculty, Eberhart Karls University in Tubingen, Germany. He started his career in Obstetrics unit in hospital of Chrudim. Here he met his future wife Dita. Together they attended a medical mission in South Sudan. Number of years he worked in perinatal centre Podoli – Institute of Care for Mother and Child, where he acquired a superspecialisation in perinatology, and devoted his work mostly to ultrasound prenatal diagnosis and multiple pregnancies.
He travels to work by bicycle and plays electrical violin in his music band "Esence".

MUDr. Dita Pocková

She acquired her medical degree from the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. Having an experience from several different hospitals she carried out a function of the Head Consultant of an Obstetrics department of Melnik Hospital. In addition to her regular practice, she is also involved in paediatric gynaecology.
With her husband Radovan, she attended a medical mission in South Sundan. Together they have three young children. This fact reveals such features of her character as outstanding patience and tolerance.

MUDr. Jiří Vojtěch

He graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. He works as a Consultant in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and leads the Fetal Medicine Centre at the General University Hospital in Prague (Apolinář Maternity Hospital)
He focuses on pregnancies complicated by maternal or fetal conditions, providing expert prenatal ultrasound assessment and specialist fetal medicine care. He also teaches at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University.
He has completed specialist fellowships at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona and at University Hospital Leuven, Belgium. He holds Czech national certification for advanced prenatal ultrasound (Czech Gynaecological and Obstetrical Society) and certification from the Fetal Medicine Foundation London for pregnancy screening.
Outside work, he recharges by mountain biking, playing the piano, or simply enjoying time with his wonderful wife and two curly-haired children.

MUDr. Kateřina Macková, Ph.D.

She graduated from the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, and earned her PhD at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. She works as Head of Perinatology Unit at the General University Hospital in Prague (Apolinář Maternity Hospital).
She focuses on the care of women with high-risk pregnancies and prenatal ultrasound diagnostics. Her long-term research interests include preterm birth and complications associated with preterm prelabour rupture of membranes in early pregnancy. She also teaches at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and leads several research projects. In her clinical work, she focuses on clear communication, evidence-based care, and respect for women's informed decisions.
Medicine is also her greatest passion. She enjoys the breadth and complexity of perinatology and the opportunity to support women during challenging moments of pregnancy.
In her free time, she enjoys sauna, target shooting, and reading science fiction.

MUDr. Dagmar Zelenková

Studied the 3.d Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. While studying she was already working as a nurse in Orthopaedic department and Obstetrics. Experience with mothers and newborns had predetermined her future professional advancement.
“The more babies are born, the greater is the joy of life!” In Dagmar’s case these are not just words. She dedicates herself to reproductive medicine, helping her patients to become happy parents.
She likes to travel, go info sports, attend concerts, ride her motorbike and looks after neighbors children. According to her two daughters opinion, mom’s biggest passion is cleaning! A person of multiple talents and faces - and all of them are so kind.

MUDr. Lucie Holakovská

The graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. Outside our outpatient clinic she works at the Gynaecology and Obstetrics department of the hospital in Jilemnice.
She spent part of her studies under the hot Spanish sun in Madrid. Big part of her time she spends on the ice of a skating ring as a professional figure skater and on the snowy slopes of the mountains as a ski instructor. She enjoys city life, but often escapes into the nature of mountains.

MUDr. Zhanna Kapenová

She was born in Kazakhstan. She spent the first year of her studies at the Medical Faculty of the Moscow State University. Since 2005 she has lived in Czech Republic, where she completed her studies at the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University. She has experience in perinatology centres and outpatient clinics. She now works at the gynaecology and obstetrics department of the hospital in Roudnice nad Labem.
She is raising two teenage sons. She loves art and the art world loves her. Her home is gradually turning into an impressive gallery.

MUDr. Karolína Čiháková

She studied at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. After graduation, she landed at the Clinic of Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Neonatology at the General University Hospital in Prague—and she’s happily been there ever since! Her passion lies in gynecology, obstetrics, and assisted reproduction. In her free time, she loves spending time by lakes or in the mountains with her wonderful partner and her dog.

MUDr. Kateřina Hamplová Běhávková

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno and then joined the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child, where she focused on gynecological and obstetric practice as well as ultrasound diagnostics, a field that has fascinated her from the start.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing, and singing. She has two children, who serve as her wonderful teachers—not only in developing empathy, but also in managing stress and cultivating an advanced level of patience.

Helena Frýbertová, DiS.

Helena is a trained nurse in intensive care medicine. She has a lot of experience from the Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady. After her maternity leave, she was drawn to perinatology. First to intensive care of newborns, later to work in the diagnostic centre of the Institute of Care for Mother and Child. She has two great sons, a big heart and a soft spot for Sting. She says about herself that she loves people, but if necessary can show her teeth. None of us have seen them yet.

Bc. Uršula Nováková

She became a general nurse but that was not it. She decided to continue her studies and became a happy midwife. Uršula has a lot of experience working in the delivery unit and in the maternity ward. She also worked for some time in neonatology and took care of premature babies.
She loves her job. She enjoys relaxing with her family and travelling.

Helena Dušková, DiS

After becoming a nurse, she tried her hand at working in the internal ward of the Hospital of the Merciful Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague for a year. It wasn't bad, but something was missing. She found the proper fulfillment after further studies at the VZŠ as a midwife. She worked with expectant mothers for 18 years at the ÚPMD both in the delivery room and in prenatal clinics.
Helena loves cats. But even more so her family, including her clever kittens T&F. She enjoys reading and sports. She smiles at work, but when she smiles particularly sweetly, it probably means she's been for a run before work.
She ran to the PWHC in 2021. We are very happy for her.

Jana Šebková, DiS

Jana graduated from the Secondary Medical School and Higher Medical School in Vsetín. She gathered her experience step by step at Thomayer Hospital, Pronatal, and the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child, focusing mainly on ultrasound diagnostics and genetics. Her colleagues are constantly amazed at how much kindness and warmth can fit into her petite frame. In her presence, even an ordinary workday feels brighter. We are grateful to have her with us.

Bc. Kristýna Kučerová

After moving to Prague, she wanted to try something new and has been working for over four years at Apolinář on the high-risk pregnancy ward, where her work brings her immense fulfillment and never ceases to inspire her. At the turn of this year, she decided to join PWHC, a decision she does not regret. She is exploring new areas of her field and meeting new people with whom she gets along very well.
Outside of work, she has two cats at home and has found a passion for aerial acrobatics (Aerial Hoop), so hard work is no stranger to her.
