Jana Stejskalova, M.D.
Board certified in OB/GYN since 1986. Jana Stejskalova opened her solo private OB/GYN practice in April 2000. Due to increasing demand for OB/GYN services from local and foreign residents, she recently established an independent group practice called Prague Women’s Health Center. Dr. Stejskalova earned her medical degree at T.G. Masaryk University, School of Medicine in Brno in 1982. She completed her residency in OB/GYN in the United Kingdom in hospitals from the Glasgow Greater Health Board during 1990-1995. Dr. Stejskalova has been practicing in Prague since September 1995. Prior to embarking her private practice she practiced as an independent doctor in a private OB/GYN facility, GynCentrum, in Prague 8. Dr. Stejskalova was also on the medical staff at Na Homolce teaching hospital and in a private OB/GYN facility, the American Medical Center, in Prague 7. Jana Stejskalova is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (U.K), the Czech Gynaecology Society and Association of Private Gynecologists (SSG) in the Czech Republic. Jana Stejskalova is a general OB/GYN practitioner with additional areas of special interest in laparoscopic surgery and comprehensive obstetrical care including multiple and high-risk pregnancies. She has already delivered over an outstanding 2000 babies.
